Fehlmann's new construction for assembly and engineering complex

Groundbreaking at Fehlmann AG for the new assembly and engineering hall

Start of construction of the new assembly and engineering hall at Fehlmann AG, Birren 1, Seon

Breaking ground at Fehlmann AG - Construction started for Fehlmann's new assembly and engineering complex

Together with our local partners Fent AG, Max Fischer AG and Hauri Seon we broke ground at the beginning of September on existing company premises Fehlmann AG in the Birren industrial area in Seon.

The single-story assembly hall, which will be 60 m long and 32 m wide, provides space to set up the Fehlmann machines as a manufacturing cell, along with automation and peripheral systems, test the interfaces and then prepare the machines for shipping.

The hall is complemented by a representative tower, which contains a reception area, spacious offices and training rooms, as well as common areas for the employees.
Heat is generated using 14 geothermal probes. In summer, the building is cooled using free cooling (without a chiller). A PV system with an output of 300 kWp will be installed on the roof.

This entire building provides work locally and promises added value, sustainability and a commitment to the future - on a total area of 2,500 m².

Construction is scheduled for completion in August 2025 - We're looking forward to the next big step we're taking!
